The visionary Approach to e-learning

 learners who use smartphones and laptops for their day to day learning. whether in class or outside class.

In physics students should be able to use you tube videos for learning and use google for research and be exposed to variety of materials for learning. like several experiments from you tube videos.

In mathematics students who can calculate and write math formulae on smart boards, smart phones and their laptops.

 I am a professional teacher of Mathematics and Economics. There have been changes in technologies since I joined school in 1999.  The first classroom I entered had only a chalk board and a few seats. This didn't change through out until I joined University in 2013 At University, I hand my small button phone and we were introduced to computer but we hard nothing to do with computers for we hard no knowledge about it. Time went on when we got computers and projectors in our lecture rooms We were also introduced blended learning where we would interact with our lecturers both physically and virtually. DESCRIPANCT BETWEEN VISION AND CURRENT REALITY

     The vision for e-learning is different from the reality in that my vision for e-learning is all students from primary to university use e-learning technology like computer, tabs and laptop and also use those same e-learning gadgets while at work. My current reality is there is access to some e-learning gadgets like computer, laptop, projector and tablets for learners. Opportunity available to reduce the gap from current towards vision is that all students in the school have tablets and they can access internet so lessons can be conducted online.
