MY VISION

  •  The future i want for my students is  to have them master e-learning systems particularly Moodle programme and using zoom.They will use the programmes for reading and watching relevant videos when i am away on important events.I will arrange zoom meeting when i am away which they should be able to access with ease.They should know how to record,mute and unmute themselves when using zoom.
  • The students will be using laptops and smartphones in learning and submit their coursework on time.The should have some basics in trouble shooting  and know when it is really necessary to contact a systems administrator.
  • They will continue using the same technology even after graduating,say in their offices or  business.
  • The students will use the technology in all the courses i teach(such as Fundamentals of he Creative Process,Principles of a Learning Organization ).

 I am a professional teacher of Mathematics and Economics. There have been changes in technologies since I joined school in 1999.  The first classroom I entered had only a chalk board and a few seats. This didn't change through out until I joined University in 2013 At University, I hand my small button phone and we were introduced to computer but we hard nothing to do with computers for we hard no knowledge about it. Time went on when we got computers and projectors in our lecture rooms We were also introduced blended learning where we would interact with our lecturers both physically and virtually. DESCRIPANCT BETWEEN VISION AND CURRENT REALITY

     The vision for e-learning is different from the reality in that my vision for e-learning is all students from primary to university use e-learning technology like computer, tabs and laptop and also use those same e-learning gadgets while at work. My current reality is there is access to some e-learning gadgets like computer, laptop, projector and tablets for learners. Opportunity available to reduce the gap from current towards vision is that all students in the school have tablets and they can access internet so lessons can be conducted online.
