E-learning Discrepancy Between my vision and current Reality


The discrepancy between my vision and  current reality, my vision  was to ensure all  learners are fully equipped with all the basics computer skills and are able to do any task assigned to them using e-learning and teaching and currently a few of them have some skills in computer applications and the others are still lacking .Some of my learners can do the typing and sharing of work among themselves however a few are still lacking.

Nevertheless, there are are still chances for me having my learners at the level of my vision. All will be achieved by giving my learner more time to access the machines ie computers and tablets. It will still require  my to avail an IT consultant and trainer, this will enable my learners seek all kinds of assists at any time hence having them move towards the level of my vision.

DESCRIPANCT BETWEEN VISION AND CURRENT REALITY

     The vision for e-learning is different from the reality in that my vision for e-learning is all students from primary to university use e-learning technology like computer, tabs and laptop and also use those same e-learning gadgets while at work. My current reality is there is access to some e-learning gadgets like computer, laptop, projector and tablets for learners. Opportunity available to reduce the gap from current towards vision is that all students in the school have tablets and they can access internet so lessons can be conducted online.
